Today I visited the Gila Cliff Dwelling and what a spectacular sight it was. It's been a very full day though and after 6 hours on the road plus the tour, I'm too tired to tell the tale so tonight is just a preview. Tomorrow I will process all the pictures from my Nikon and write the story. It involved a three and a half hour drive to the dwelling over beautiful mountain passes, snow and ice on the road back, and more beautiful rock art. I must give a special shout-out to Theresa and Jim! Teresa was kind enough to take this photo of me in front of the Gila Cliff Dwelling. I hope my photos of Jim came out well on the Nikon! I also want to say a big thank you to Mark the Ranger for all of his expertise and willingness to share information about the dwelling. It was an exciting day!
